A community laboratory for studies on low-risk cancer agents

This paper presents the concepts underlying the establishment of a community epidemiological laboratory that could serve the diverse needs of investigators worldwide who are involved in a variety of studies on low-risk lung cancer agents. The desiderata for selecting a specific geographically defined community are suggested together with a discussion of practical applications.
