The Implications of Health Indicators: A Comment

Consideration of the implications of health indicators clearly points to the close relation between health and physical and social environment. Improved health indicators rest mainly on control of the physical and social environmentrather than on the provision of therapeutic services. This applies to minority groups, to the developing world and to the Western developed world.
